(Cape Town, 10 March 2017) Sports apparel brand adidas have officially extended their partnership with the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon (OMTOM) until 2019.
Through this partnership as the event's official Technical Sponsor, adidas will once again produce OMTOM's official merchandise range.

officially launched their #GOGREEN campaign – an anti-littering movement,
coupled with a waste management plan that offers a sustainable way to collect
and process the non-organic waste generated during race week.
(Cape Town, 6 January 2017) Runners still hoping to secure their place in the 2017 Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon have been thrown a final life line: Substitution entries will open on 9 January 2017, and runners who can no longer participate are encouraged to release their entry to another runner before 6 March 2017.
(Cape Town, 28 October 2016) Ballot applications for the 20th Old Mutual Two Oceans Half Marathon, taking place on 15 April 2017, will open on Tuesday, 1 November 2016, and runners are encouraged to secure their applications between 1 and 10 November.
After months of
planning and deliberation, the Two Oceans Marathon NPC has announced a new entry
process for the Half Marathon, which will move from the usual online entry
procedure to the introduction of a ballot application system.

organisations wishing to apply to become official beneficiaries of the 2017 Old
Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, through the Two Oceans Marathon Initiative (TOMI),
must submit their applications by 25 August 2016.
In the absence of Stephen Mokoka, Gladwin Mzazi and Precious Mashele who are on National Duty at the World Half Marathon Championships, and Lusapho April who has just returned from the the New York Half Marathon, Boxers Elroy Gelant is the odds on favourite to win the 2016 Old Mutual Two Oceans Half Marathon on Saturday 26 March.
Nedbank’ Collen Makaza has all the right ingredients to win the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, come 26 March. A two-time World 50km Champion, Makaza has run in the Mother City seven times and has had mixed fortunes. His debut was certainly nothing to write home about, the Zimbabwean finishing in 1154th, running over 5 hours.
