Every year many talented athletes from disadvantaged communities miss out on participating in the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon due to financial constraints.

The 46th consecutive Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon will remain on the traditional route via Chapman's Peak, Hout Bay and Constanti
All runners who have completed 10 or more Ultra Marathons qualify for a permanent number. A Blue Number is issued to all runners that achieve this triumph.
Comprehensive training programmes are being run by the virtual coach here.
Wheelchairs are not allowed on the 56km Ultra Marathon, but may participate in the 21km Half Marathon.
Runners who have credit cards and Internet access are encouraged to enter online from 29 October 2014 onwards.

All standard marathons and races longer than 42.2 km will count as qualifying races, provided that they are held under the auspices of the IAAF (or ASA in South Africa).
All entrants receive a limited edition, adidas climalite running T-shirt with their race pack at Registration.
